It takes years of training and a great deal of pride to achieve fine Swiss timepieces by hand. But it takes the courage of your convictions and a whole lot of rebellion to make those timepieces affordable for everyone who appreciates them.

At our Swiss workshops, we mix time-honored traditions with a little bit of horse sense every single day to produce the greatest values in the watch-making world.

Here is a quick look at the time-consuming process.

Skilled watchmakers from Switzerland and neighboring Italy apply their talents to each task.

From start to finish, the trained eyes of our master horologists scrutinize every step of the process.

Here, a craftsman prepares to set the dial of a Lupah Vórtice onto a Swiss-made Startech caliber 5040.C big date and day chronograph movement.

Each step is a delicate process,

with pinpoint precision being the ultimate goal.

From the placement of the hour and minute hands,

to the security of the small sub-dial hands,

everything is checked and re-checked. Here, a camera is used to confirm that all the hands stacked on the dial are spaced properly.

Once the case components are assembled,

and secured by hand,

they are subjected to a number of moisture

and water resistance tests.

During the final stage, they are cleaned, polished and scrutinized for fit and finish once more

as they are every stop along the way.

In all, there are over 100 steps in the hand assembly process. Which is an incredible statistic, given the tremendously reasonable price points of our Swiss-made product.
